The Jing Orange Okra is a very tender Asian variety that is known for its breathtaking red-orange hue that is sure to stand out in the garden. This okra is drought tolerant and produces 6-7 inch pods. The Jing Orange is not a canning okra, but it is absolutely delicious in soups, stir fries and stews or fried up.
Perkins Long Pod Okra is an old Southern heirloom that grows long and tall! This variety will grow to be to 5' and produces bright green pods that are up to 8" long. Produces an abundance of little snap peas that are delicious straight from the garden. This was one of our favorite snap peas in our trials at Urban Farmer. Little SnapPea Petite sets dainty, sweet, crunchy pods on a full-sized plant. Productive plants grow well in large containers, small gardens, or large gardens. Expect lots of crunchy, sweet, juicy, edible pod peas in about 65 days. In-ground plants will reach 80 inches, container-grown plants will be smaller. For Pea shoots, this variety grows quickly (10 days) and has delicate round leaves and fresh flavor-tastes just like spring peas! The texture is crisp but tender, and plants have long internodes and smallish leaves.
The Alaska Pea is a super-early variety that thrives in colder temperatures! This pea is a semi-dwarf variety that grows to an average height of 3' and is a decent producer once flowering begins. Alaska's pods produce 5-7 peas per pod that offers a sweet and delicious flavor.

The Hickory King White is a 12 foot tall corn, you will have to see it to believe it! This variety's large white kernels are not seen in today's corn. Each stalk of the Hickory King White corn produces 2 very large ears that are great for roasting! This corn has a very high leafy green matter which makes it perfect for silage. Its tight husks which help keep out corn worms.
