The Star of David is an Israeli okra variety with grooves, making it resemble a "star." This okra's unbranched stalks grow 8-10 ft. and produce 7" long pods with medium spines if left to mature. Star of David is a bright green okra with purple coloration on top of leaf petioles and major leaf veins. This variety is best picked when small and will keep well. Conventional seed available.
The Detroit Dark Red is the standard all-purpose heirloom beet! This is by far the most popular beet for home gardens. Detroit Dark Red has blood red flesh that is very sweet and tasty. Beets are perfectly round with no rings or streaks. Has 13-16" greens that are wonderful mixed into salads. Very prolific and good keeper. This heirloom was first introduced in 1892 by Mr. Reeves of Ontario, Canada.

The Romanesco broccoli is a funky little vibrant broccoli! Known for its different appearance, it is also a really great tasting broccoli! This Italian variety is bright lime green with lots of texture. The Romanesco is excellent for cool areas.
The Fiesta is a beautiful, heavy yielding broccoli . Uniform plants are medium height, giving rise to 5-7" blue-green heads. Heavy yields that are disease resistant, which is definitely a reason to celebrate!
The Kuroda Shin is a popular Oriental carrot with a nice sweet flavor. This variety is a great addition to any Oriental dish. The Kuroda Shin carrot's deep orange, stubby roots are mild and sweet. This is an excellent carrot for juicing as well. Grows well in many climate conditions, good for home or market.
Continuity is an extra early iceberg type of lettuce that has thick dark-green leaves that fades to a bronze-red tip. This lettuce is crisp with a fine flavor! This reliable header has some tendency to bolt in hot weather, and is firm and solid.
