Mountain Mix Wildflower

This annual and perennial mix is for ornamental landscaping in the mountainous regions of the western U.S. Use it for elevations above 7,000 feet in AZ, CA, CO, ID, MT, NV, NM, OR, UT, WA, WY, and the southern parts of Alberta and British Columbia. Flowers will provide color throughout the growing season.

This mix contains annuals and perennials that are native to the Intermountain region of the U.S., bounded by the Rocky Mountains on the east, and the Cascade and Sierra Nevada mountain ranges on the west. This area includes eastern Washington, eastern Oregon, Nevada, Utah, Idaho, western Montana, western Wyoming and western Colorado. It is also suitable for southwestern Alberta and southeastern B.C. in Canada. For maximum adaptability, most of these species are derived from seed sources located within this geographical area. Best for elevations below 7,000 feet. For higher elevations, see the Mountain Native Mix. This mix should be planted at 7-14 pounds per acre or 6 ounces per 1,000 sq.ft.
