Rebellion is a full season synthetic population derived from crosses among commercial and university corn belt dent inbred lines. Quite uniform Rebellion, it has the Ga1s trait to discourage cross pollination from unwanted pollen. Ga1s are naturally occurring traits in corn that will greatly reduce outcrossing with plants that don’t carry the same trait. This trait is called gametophytic incompatibility. This trait helps prevent accepting unwanted pollen from transgenic and other field corn. Rebellion was developed by Dr. Frank Kutka and the Seed We Need Project.

VK Early is a fast growing corn variety that grows to 6-7’ tall with ears reaching 7.5-8.5" long. Kernels tend to be mostly yellow with some brown or maroon finish. Yields well for an open-pollinated variety with mostly flinty type ears.

Caribbean Red Habanero is one of the hottest peppers available! This habanero is a wrinkled, red hot pepper that needs to be handled with caution! This variety can be picked green at around 70 days, but for a sweeter flavor, allow them to turn red!

The Big Jim is the largest of all chile peppers! This hot-medium pepper can get up to 12 inches long and tastes amazing in many different types of cuisine. The Big Jim yields 24-30 peppers per plant. The red veined Red Tabby Spinach has beautiful tender smooth leaves. This variety is an excellent baby leaf spinach that does well in spring, fall and winter. Its uniform, smooth leaves grow straight and upright. Red Tabby is also resistant to downy mildew races 1-13.

The Islander is a thick-fleshed, medium-sized bell pepper with 3-lobes that have a mild, slightly sweet taste. This colorful pepper also has a resistance to tobacco mosaic virus.
