Jacaranda broccoli, a standout variety with its deep purple florets and rich flavor, is a relatively recent addition to the diverse world of broccoli cultivars. Originating from the efforts to enhance both the visual appeal and nutritional profile of broccoli, this variety was developed to offer a unique alternative to traditional green broccoli. Jacaranda broccoli thrives in well-drained, fertile soil with a pH level between 6.0 and 7.0. To plant, start seeds indoors 6-8 weeks before the last frost or directly sow them outdoors after the danger of frost has passed. The plants prefer cooler weather and should be spaced about 12-18 inches apart to allow for proper growth. Regular watering and consistent care, including the addition of compost or organic matter, will support optimal development. The beautiful Moranga squash's name comes from the traditional Brazilian dish called 'Camarão na moranga' which also means 'shrimp in a squash.' This squash is also known as the 'Pink Pumpkin.' The Moranga can get to be 4-8 pounds and range in color from light pink to salmon.

The Chrystal Batavian Lettuce is known for its beautifully colored leaves! This lettuce's coloring has a bright purplish red contrast on broad green loose leaves. The Chrystal Batavian is a summer crisp type of lettuce.

Goya is a large round extra firm eggplant is extremely well suited for preparing pastes, dips, and sauces. It yields very consistent firm fruit with a good shelf life. The fruits are round, to globe-shaped, with a green spineless flat calyx. It is an early variety with a strong growing plant for indoor and outdoor planting.

The Spookie Pumpkin is a very uniform pumpkin with a great tasting inside. This high yielding, dark orange pumpkin grows to be 6-8" around, weighing about 5-6 lbs. A 1918 The Great Northern Seed Company says this variety is not withstanding its immense size. This variety does not get hollow or pithy and its flesh remains sparkling white, solid, crisp and juicy. This slower bolting variety has the mildest flavor with a tender, crunchy texture.
