These wildflower mixes will do well throughout Texas. Blended specifically with native varieties that do well in heat and drought.

This mix contains annuals and perennials that are native to most areas in Texas and Oklahoma. For the extreme southern tip of Texas, see the Gulf Coast/Caribbean Mix. For the extreme eastern part of Oklahoma, see the Midwest Native Mix. Many of the species in this mix were derived from seed sources located within this geographic region. Sow at a rate of 8 ounces per 1,000 sq.ft. or 11-22 lbs. per acre.

The Texas & Oklahoma Value Mix is a beautiful mixture of perennial and annual wildflowers that will thrive in hot and dry climates. This mix is formulated specifically for Texas and Oklahoma climates.

Planting a prairie recreates a piece of our natural heritage and can provide habitat for beneficial insects and wildlife. This mix of short prairie flowers can be planted alone or with our Shortgrass Mixture. It is best for moderate to drier sites, and the height ranges from 12 to 36 inches. This mix should be planted at 9-18 pounds per acre or 7 ounces per 1,000 sq.ft.

The Easy Care Children's is a low maintenance mixture that is a blend of easy to grow, annual wildflowers especially well-suited for children. This mix should be planted at 4-8 pounds per acre or 3 ounces per 1,000 sq.ft.

This mixture contains a wide variety of colors and textures and is suitable for fresh cut flowers as well as dried flowers. Flowers that are cut and dried can be used in winter bouquets when fresh flowers are no longer available. Many species have stiff, papery petals or bracts while still attached to the living plant. To dry flowers, cut stems and tie together. Hang upside down in a dark, well-ventilated room for 3-5 weeks. Money Plant is cut and dried when seed pods are fully developed. This mix should be planted at 14-28 pounds per acre or 10 ounces per 1,000 sq.ft.
